~Meet our Fitness Staff~

JAN WORSENCROFT:
Yoga teacher, has been teaching fitness classes for 35 years. A natural progression after teaching High School for 8 years.  For the past 15 years she has been the Fitness Director.  Jan specializes in teaching yoga.  She began her exploration of Hatha Yoga in 1974 and was captivated from the beginning.  She continues to study with Yoga Masters and holds various fitness certifications.  Jan believes strongly that taking care of your body will give you more zest for life. 

JACKIE BAER:
Has been teaching pilates and yoga at the Boise Racquet & Swim Club for 6 years. Jackie is a certified yoga/pilates instructor and has been teaching for 10 years. She enjoys meeting people of all ages and all abilities. Her goal is to help people meet their personal fitness goals. 

DAVE MASSIE:
Personal trainer & weight room supervisor, has a master's degree in Exercise Physiology and has 13 years experience as a certified personal trainer.  Dave also teaches circuit training classes, an athletic fitness class, which develops strength, flexibility and enhances your performance in your chosen sport.  You do not need to be a club member to hire Dave as your personal trainer or take his classes. He has been at the Boise Racquet & Swim Club for 14 years.  "Click Here" to view personal training costs.

DAWNA BUCKINGHAM:
Has been teaching fitness classes at the Boise Racquet & Swim Club for 12 years and has been a club member for 15.  Athletic training and tennis are important parts of her life and have been family activities for her, her husband and three sons.  She has been playing tennis since she was a kid and now plays at the 4.0 level.  Dawna promotes the importance of physical conditioning to compete in the physically demanding sport of tennis. "Work out to play" not "play for a workout".

HOLLY JOHNSON:
Has been teaching fitness classes for over 20 years and is the newest member of the fitness team at the Boise Racquet and Swim Club.  Holly has earned many fitness certifications and is continually studying new fitness techniques. She is passionate about helping people meet their fitness goals.  Holly's commitment to fitness is also exemplified in her 4.0 tennis style.
