Adult Tennis

Welcome to Adult Tennis at the Boise Racquet & Swim Club...

Monthly clinics are open to members and non-members. "CLICK HERE" to view the current month, clinic sheet - Basic Skills, Developing Skills, Cardio Tennis, and 3.5 & Up Skills & Drills. We look forward to seeing you on court!

1.0-2.0 Basic Skills Clinic - Wednesday, 5:30pm-7:00pm

, led by tennis pro John Armstrong. This clinic is designed for the beginning tennis player to learn the basic skill of tennis. John will take you through a series of drills and games to improve on your newly acquired shots.

2.5-3.0 Developing Skills Clinic - Wednesday, 7:00pm-8:30pm, led by tennis pro John Armstrong. This clinic is designed to continue developing players from the "Learn to Play Tennis Fast" program and for player's returning to the game of tennis.

3.0 & Above - Cardio Tennis - Thursday, 6:30pm-7:30pm, led by tennis pro John Armstrong. These fast paced, heart pumping tennis drills are a great way to work on shots and get a little exercise. Players are grouped by ability and should be in good physical condition, injury free and able to pace themselves.

3.5 & Up - Skills and Drills - Tuesday, 5:30pm-7:00pm, led by tennis pros Pete Peterson and Stephen Dial. The name says it all! Just be ready to work!

Ladies Daytime Clinics - 3.0 on Thursday from 9:00am-10:30am, 3.5 on Mondays from 9:00am-10:30am and 4.0 on Fridays from 12:00am-1:30am. "CLICK HERE" to view flyer for more information.

2010 BRSC Ladies Fall Indoor Doubles League: League will be getting underway starting September 13, 2010 and ending November 4, 2010. Cost: $45.00 BRSC Member & $65.00 Guest. 2010 BRSC Members Outdoor Doubles League: In our efforts to take advantage of the outdoor tennis season, we are offering an outdoor doubles league, every Wednesday morning starting at 10:30 a.m. Sessions are run in 6 week increments. There will be a "running" handicap format. Running handicap works like this: with a 1 game lead, opponents strts up 15-love, a 2 game lead, opponent starts up 30-love, a 3 game and over lead, opponent starts up 40-love. Play with the same partner the whole time. Any combination may enter - a woman/man, woman/woman, man/man. This will be a great way to practice for USTA league tennis or just to have some fun. Men's Night - Is every Wednesday, play starts at 5:30pm and runs to 8:30pm with tennis pro Jim Brown. Matches are played on indoor courts 9 - 12. Jim will facilitate matches between players. Play is open to members and non-members. Cost: $9.50 (member) $16.50 (non-member). Price covers tennis balls, court fees and one drink ticket, redeemable at the snack bar for one domestic beer, glass of wine or a soda. Please arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to play and remit payment to the front desk staff.
